As a longtime resident of Maywood for over ten years, I have remained steadfast in my commitment to improve the overall condition of my neighborhood. For well over a decade, I have been directly involved in efforts aimed at decreasing crime and destruction of personal property, while also working towards the beautification of my community. Through those efforts I have been able to establish numerous positive relationships with both local law enforcement officers, as well as countless other employees throughout the Village of Maywood. Over time I have become well known throughout my community due to my ongoing commitment to routinely attend and participate in as many monthly board meetings as possible. By doing so it has allowed me to become very knowledgeable about all aspects of how our local government actually functions.
